He started the company in 2010 afteryears’ experience on mountain hiking and climbing with the core aims of supporting his fellow mountain porters, cooks, and guides by creating for them job opportunities, creating conducive working environment, and socio-economic activities in partnership with other charity organizations Worldwide for the sustainable tourism development activities in Tanzania. After studying tour guide and operation course and working for the various tour companies in Tanzania, Bobby established his own tour company-KiliTwende Adventures, an organizing National wild parks safaris and climbs to Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. He is well experienced Professional Mountain Guide who guides mountain tourists to and from all highest peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro namely Stella point (5,756m), Gilman’s point (5685m), and Uhuru Peak (5,895m ASL).

He has also participated in numerous treks and climbs in various mountains within and outside the country. Apart from East Africa, in 2015 he trekked the famous trekking in the world Everest Base Camp (5,363m) and in 2017 he climbed Island peak (6,100m) above the Sea levels at Himalayan Mountains in Nepal. His core ambition is Team Work. His company boasts a team of able and experienced professionals, alongside passionate, committed and trustworthy local personnel to take care of you during your stay.

He has also an experience of guiding special group to Mount Kilimanjaro who climbs the mountain for the cause such as people with different disabilities. Robert (Bobby) Woiso has also the ambition of supporting the needy people in the community. He does collaborate with other charity organizations such as as Free Generation and the Tanzania Youth Vision (TYV) through Sports and Education, among many others.

Professional and Experience Guides: When Trekking Mt. Kilimanjaro with us, we strive to make sure that your climb is not only a trek but also a learning experience. We have recruited some of the best guides who are knowledgeable in Geological formations, ecology of the mountains, wilderness medicine and leadership. We have one of the best trained Kilimanjaro guides and other support staff.

He worked as a Project Coordinator with the various charity organizations including the Child Health and Social Ecology, Harvard University Project (CHASE), Malaria Project with Duke University and White Orange Youth (WOY), on life skills and Leadership. He also training porters on HIV/AIDS and life skills during low season with White Orange Youth (WOY).

When working with the charity organizations, Mr. John (Afro) Mmbando organized several Mt. Kilimanjaro Expeditions and Wild park Safaris for charity. His core ambition is Team Work, and he has a passion of supporting the needy people in the community.

She later joined Mount Meru University for her diploma in Tourism and Wildlife Management.

After her tertiary education, Lillian was training to become a tour guide and she trekked up Mount Kilimanjaro and going on safari several times. She however did not realize her dream of becoming a tour guide as her knowledge and skills were more needed in the office.

Apart from Sales and Marketing, she works as a Female tour guide at KiliTwende Adventures with special groups. She likes travelling and helping/supporting people especial youth and children with special needs.
