Day 01 : Arusha – Tarangire Lake National Park

From Arusha, we’ll advance towards the Tarangire National Park where game drives will be conducted. It is among the largest national parks of Tanzania with its location in the Manyara region. This is the place where elephants, tree climbing lions are found in large numbers along with baobab trees which is called Tree of Life for its mythical powers as per some tribal people. The park is named after the Tarangire River which flows through it all year round and is the only source of water for the resident animals, especially during the dry season.Late afternoon drive to the campsite for Dinner and overnightas per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 02 : Serengeti Central

After breakfast, we proceed to the Central part of Serengeti. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "big five", named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.Dinner and overnightas per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 03 : Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.

Serengeti which is a World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO is home to around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle which join in with the migrating herds of wildebeest in search of fresh grazing land. Keep your ears open and listen to the hymns and squeaks of over six million hooves pounding the savannah and open plains. Day 04 : Serengeti –Ngorongoro Conservation Area

In the morning, we will have another game drive in Serengeti National Park. Likewise in the afternoon, we’ll proceed for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and visit the Olduvai Gorge museum which is a renowned archaeological site in East Africa. At Laetoli, which is located 45 km south of Olduvai Gorge, you’ll find footprints of early hominin. These remain preserved in the volcanic rocks and date back 3.6 million years ago and represent some of the earliest signs of mankind in the world.Dinner and overnightas per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 05 : Ngorongoro Crater

We start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The final day kicks off with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The whole of Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a highland area stretching along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, and the crater is its focal point. Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism.Dinner and overnightas per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 06 : Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast, we make our way to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar,Arrival at Zanzibar Airport and transfer to Zanzibar Stone Town. The Zanzibar Stone Town is the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar where very little has changed in the last 200 years. It is a place characterized by bustling bazaars, winding alleys, oriental mosques, and Arab houses whose owners had a friendly vied among each other over the extravagance of their dwellings. Dinner and overnight at Tembo House Hotel.

Day 07 : Stone Town Tour & Boat Trip to Changuu Island

Today we take you to the most scenic parts of the Old Town. The tour takes you to the former site of the slave market; the cathedral (Cathedral Church of Christ) built in its site in 1874, the Sultan’s palace (Palace Museum) ,House of Wonders, and Arab Fort and natural museum where you will have enough time to explore these historical monuments. You will also see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors.

The Stone Town has been declared as among the world’s historic cities which now serves as a protected area in Zanzibar. After the Stone Town Tour, our guide will drop you off at the restaurant for lunch (Own account and to be paid directly at the restaurant).

In the afternoon, proceed to the wharf to catch a local boat (with outboard engine) to visit Changuu (prison) Island. Changuu is charming little Island which is located about 5 km off to Zanzibar Stone Town and is about half an hour boat ride from Stone Town. This used to be aprivate place of detention for recalcitrant slaves. The island has the added attraction of several giant aldabra tortoises and beautiful peacocks which are living and breeding on the Island.

You can stretch out and relax after your excursions and snorkel or just enjoy the white sandy beach. Return to Zanzibar Stone Town in the evening.

Day 08 : Jozani Forest and Cultural Visit

On this day we take you around the whole Southern part of Zanzibar Island starting at Jozani Forest- one of the last remaining sanctuaries in the world of the red colubus monkeys. Sighting of the rare creatures residing in the forest reserve are possible along the pathways. It will take two hours or more to explore the forest.

We then drive to Jambiani Village where there are tours to visit villagers working in different professions. Our guide tells about the history of the village. You will visit a traditional herbalist, who will show you local medicines, herbs and their uses. We visit a local organic plantation on coral stone, where farmers cultivate under difficult circumstances, and where seaweed farms are run by women. This is a good chance to learn about the unique culture and the diverse environment of Zanzibar’s villages and meet Swahili people. Return to Hotel in the evening.

Day 09 : Spice Tour & Pwani Mchangani Beach

After breakfast, we go to Kizimbani Village for the Spice Tour. The Spice Island has over forty of the most valuable tropical aromatic plants that were introduced over the last two centuries by the Oman Arabs. The spices are cultivated in the gardens located in the hills, just north of Stone Town. You’ll be escorted through this fascinating tour by our knowledgeable guides. You will see tropical fruits such as jack fruits, bread fruits, karambola, pineapple, lychees, etc. You can try these fruits if they are in season.

Also you can check out various plants such as henna bush, perfume tree, lipstick tree and spice such as cardamon, cinnamon, clove, black pepper, nutmeg and many others. The landscape around the Kizimbani will give you a good impression of the life of Zanzibar.

After the Spice Tour, we drive for 50 minutes (60 km) to the top North East of Zanzibar Island- Pwani Mchangani Beach and check in at Ocean Paradise Beach Resort.

Day 10-11 : Pwani Mchangani Beach

Relax at Pwani Mchangani Beach with the option to do water sports at an extra cost.
